From Mathematics faculty of the University of Noworosyiskim in Odesa was forced to volunteer during the First World War into the Russian army; immediately however upon the outbreak of the Russian revolution and Konstanty takes part in the battle of the newly established Polish army (into which he also enrolled), with the German army under Kaniowe.
The Polish army was under the command of General Haller, under whose command were presently the Polish army from America [USA] (hence from this reason known as Hallers). General Haller later was in charge of the Polish Red-Cross. After the withdrawal of the Polish army from the Soviet Russia, [he] takes part, at the rank of rotmeister, in the Polish-Russian war, which terminated with the complete defeat of the Soviet army near Warszawa. After the war, [he] remains in the army. He perishes in an automobile accident in the rank of a Lt. Colonel, while, as an inspector of the General Chief-of-Staff, [he] was inspecting the outpost under Poznań, immediately prior the the invasion of Poland by Hitler, in August of 1939.
