He participated in the Russian-Turkish war in the years 1877-1878, went to a civilian in 1885 as a lieutenant.
After his father's death, Julius inherited Chutor Lubomila near Odessa (UA), where in addition to growing crops dealt with beekeeping. He contributed to the modernization of this branch of culture, had framed beehives manufactured after the idea of Kazimierz Lewicki, which he imported from Warsaw. In 1897 their number increased to several hundred.
Julius received a law degree. By 1914, he was an honorary judge in Owidopol.
In 1918/1919, together with his sons Andrew and Julian joined the Lancers (later 14 Cavalry Jazłowiec Regiment) of General Zeligowski. They underwent the trail of fire, took part in the Battle of Warsaw in 1920. After the war, all the possessions of Julius consisted of uniform items of washing up and demobilized horse.
He lived with their children, most recently with Andrew and Dorothy in the Bieszczady Mountains, where Andrew leased property, where he died and is buried.
